About this Website

CANWin maintains this website as a place where everyone in the Southern Highlands and beyond can seek out information about how humans affect the Earth’s climate, discuss climate-related issues and concerns, and find out about local sustainable events.

Seek out information

You’ve already found some information about CANWin under the About CANWin option. You can find information about CANWin’s past and present activites under the next option, Climate Action. For details of future events, check out the Calendar. There’s a summary version on the left side of most pages: click the View calendar button to see the full version.

If you’re looking for information rather than action, the next five options are a good way to start.

Within this site, you’ll find climate information under three of the main options at the top of each page: Climate,Environment, Energy,Technology, and Policy,Economics.

These headings are also used in a list of websites and other information sources. That’s under the Resources option.

The Glossary explains technical jargon that we’ve seen in discussions about climate and climate action. This is one of the fastest-growing areas of the site, so it’s worth checking every so often. Your contributions are especially welcome for the glossary. We’d like to hear about terms that puzzle you as well as terms you can explain for other readers.

There’s a Search box on the left side of most pages, below the calendar entries. Just type in the word or a short phrase and click the Search button for a list of the places where your search term is used in this website.

Discuss climate issues and concerns
